Bids, Purchasing & Competitive Procurements:
Lewis Public Transportation Benefit Area is accepting bids for the construction of a transit bus stop and EV charging site, located at 104 East Front Street, Mineral, WA 98355. Please download a copy of the bid packet which contains a project overview, eligibility requirements, construction plans/specifications, and instructions needed for bidding on this project.
This project has an approximate start date of October 1, 2025 and a target completion date on or before December 31, 2025.

Future Bus Service and Lewis County Transit’s 6-Year Transit Development Plan (TDP)
Curious about bus service expansions? By September 1st of each year, public transit authorities in Washington State, including Lewis County Transit, must submit a six-year Transit Development Plan (TDP) to the Washington State Department of Transportation. The Plan is a guiding document that describes how Lewis County Transit intends to change and fund modifications to transit service, equipment, and facilities through 2030.
Annual Budget
Each fall the Lewis County Transit Board adopts a budget for the upcoming calendar year. The budget illustrates forecasted revenue amounts by source and planned expenditures by expense category. The General Manager is responsible for the preparation of the annual budget and executing expenditures in accordance with the adopted amounts.
